If you're from West Africa, you probably already know what Gari is.
It's a stable carbs source that is a huge part of our diet. It can be eaten as a full course meal (depending on the ingredients added) or a cereal.
Growing up, I went to a boarding school called Rick's Institute. There, we ate a ton of Gari. I mean, we would get super creative with the stuff. We would add sardines, salt, and pepper or eat it with milk and sugar. (Sweet or savory).
Me and my group of friends particularly would go deep in the process and add a ton of milk, calling it our signature name "Milky Way."
Anyway, somehow, I became a Gari making expert.
For years, I hadn't really eaten Gari like I did when I was a kid. But recently, on a call with a friend, I got inspired to make a cereal of my own that would sell in the West.
So, I did it.
Hence, Bassa Super Gari was born.
It's not just your ordinary Gari. It's refined and premixed with all the right amount of ingredients that give it that crunchy yet creamy and sweet taste.
These packs are made for modern convenience. You don't have to go through the struggle of assembling your own Gari anymore. All you have to do is get one of our packs, tear it open, add water, and get that goodness.
African food to the world!
